Women’s Bill Passed In Rajyasabha

Women’s bill which saw 13 years on resistance have been finally passed in rajya sabha today. The bill which was tabled yesterday saw immense opposition from samajwadi party , rjd and few others.

Rajya sabha had to be adjourned 9 times in last two days and it saw some shameful way of protesting in upper house.

Snatching of mike , tearing of copy of bill , leading to suspension of 7 members (who can now co author book called how not to behave as member of upper house) , finally bill saw debate and passage of the historic bill.

Now bill would be tabled in loksabha . UPA backed by BJP and communist have the necessary numbers to see the bill pass in loksabha.

This bill would ensure 33% seats to be reserved in parliament and state assembly.
