Lets face it, whether we like it or not , whether we want it or not , Indian National Congress is family owned enterprise since days of Indira Gandhi. Nehru Clan has benefited most from India’s freedom which was achieved by sacrifice of lakhs and lakhs and lakhs of Indians.

Congress in defense of nehru clan claim that their contribution to India has been immense. There is no doubt in it. To be fair with nehru clan , obviously they contributed in big big way . Nehru is architect of modern India , Indira did some of outstanding jobs as pm including winning 1971 war which had diplomatic as well as shift decisions at political levels which contributed to win the war like storage of ample food supplies, treaty with ussr , building up India’s case etc. Rajiv contributed in big way in communication medium , connecting India.

But having said that since these three got opportunity to lead , they have had their share of big blunders like nehru’s failure in china policy , kashmir , Indira’s emergency and finishing democracy in congress, Rajiv’s involvement in shan bano case , opening of Ram Mandir locks….

Indira gave her life as a result of her decisive action which many experts believed saved punjab but at same time she had promoted bindrawala initially to curb akalis and monster she created caused havoc in punjab and resulted in her death as well.

If we consider nehru clan following members of their family have been in politics in some point of time :

1)Motilal Nehru

2) Pandit Nehru

3) Vijaya Pandit

4) Indira Gandhi

5) Feroz Gandhi

6) Sanjay Gandhi

7) Maneka Gandhi

8) Rajiv Gandhi

9) Sonia Gandhi

10) Varun Gandhi

11) Rahul Gandhi

Other than above 11 ,we have priyanka gandhi who is not in full time politics but keep campaigning for congress especially mother and brother in times of election.

Now people mentioned in bold are the people who have held position in party but no official post in government. Sanjay gandhi was not even elected member of parliament.

Sonia Gandhi is most powerful person in India at this point of time. She is officially member of parliament , chair person of upa but in not in government. All corruption charges , inflation and other issues stops at door step of prime minister who heads government but the most powerful person remains unaccountable since she does not hold any official position!!!!!!!!!

In same way untested , untried rahul baba is expected to become prime minister of such a huge ,diverse country like India but he holds no official position . Yes he is member of parliament but has been hardly seen asking questions or participating in debates. He even didnt attend parliaments during time of up elections since he was busy trying to win elections in up . He failed to impress in that either.Only views which he projected in parliament was making lok pal a constitutional body.

Now this 40 something person who has hardly worked in his entire life , has no experience of governance is expected to lead India just because he was born lucky in empire called nehru clan!!!!!!!!!!

That is exactly why rahul gandhi must join government. At least if he becomes minister , the country can know his abilities ,capabilities and his performance. Nehru clan has used mahatma’s name to fullest till date and in name of secularism have ruled India most of times but this is 2012 . Can we make Rahul PM just because he was born lucky or do we need to judge him not on basis of surname but on basis of what actually he is capable of?

I hope this unofficial prince of India , does take some position in government soon….
