-> Love Marriages Not Allowed

-> Women ordered to not use mobile phone

-> Women have to cover their heads when they leave their home

-> Women of 40 and below ordered not to go out without escort who has to be her family member

The above is not new law formed by saudi arabia or fatwa issued by some wahabbhis or from pakistan’s taliban or afghan’s taliban , this comes from panchayat of uttar pradesh which comes in constituency of Indian Aviation Minister Mr Ajit Singh.

Some dikats from panchayats do shock me . Now they talk about bharatiya sanskruti and claim to be custodian of that , now can someone educate them that it is Bharatiya sanskruti which is among first civilization which officially approved women to choose their life partners through swayamvar.

Lord Krishna’s marriage to Rukmani was outcome of love . We are sanskruti which celebrates love much before valentine’s day became global. Radha-Krishna are out role models.

Nation has produced strong women like sita , maharani laxmi bai , sarojni naidu , Indira gandhi , mamata banerjee and sushma swaraj. Now imagine Laxmi Bai given dikat of not going out without escort!!!!!!!!…WTF….

Such panchayats taking lessons from chaos mid period must be taught what Indian culture is actually all about.  These kind of panchayats must be brought to book for passing such fatwas . They must spend time in investing in bringing good school, hospitals in village and focus of social evils like killing of girl child .

Only good thing this panchayat did right was condemning dowry practice but I wonder why didnt they issue fatwa against dowry?…What often happens in name of parampara is allowing evils to continue. As Vivekananda said we need to challenge and have more democracy is social norms to make us a progressive society…

With fatwas as above who needs wahabbhis and taliban in India , we already have one….ridiculous…
