UP Division Resolution Passed : Now Ball Is In Center’s court…
Behn Mayawati’s government did pass resolution of dividing uttar pradesh into four new states today. Since mayawati has majority on her own , passing resolution was no big deal for BSP. The resolution was passed using voice vote.. According to resolution uttar pradesh would be divided into four new states namely a) Purvanchal (Eastern UP) : This would have 32 districts with Allahabad as proposed capital. Other potential capitals are varanasi and gorakhpur b)Awadh Pradesh (Central UP) : This would have fourteen districts with lucknow in it…No prizes of guessing…Lucknow would be capital of this proposed state. c)Harit Pradesh This would have 22 districts and meerut might be its capital. d) Bundelkhand This would be smallest of proposed states with only 7 districts in it. After her MLA got himself locked up in jail on accusation of raping an minor , and after mayawati was stopped by helpless citizen by sleeping on road to stop her car , behan mayawati again made news today. Her security in charge was shown on camera wiping her shoes. Apparently her shoes had some dirt and loyal PSO could not see her dirty shoes .After all isn’t she going to be empress of India someday?. Bharat Bandh : Never Makes Sense
Image via Wikipedia India is heading towards yet another bandh. Bharat bandh is scheduled on monday dated 5/7/2010. Reason is de controlling fuel prise by government which is directly going to effect lives of millions in India. The issue is of common man and so all opposition have stood up and bandh has been called by Left and NDA. What ever the issue , bandh has never made sense to me. It is good way to build pressure on government since bandh effects lives of people , brings loss to businesses , governments and paralyzes the system. Dalit Ki Beti & 200 Crores
Caste is worst thing that might have happened to India. Not part of original religion , it was later introduced ,which gave advantage to set class of people to exploit larger section of society in name of upper-lower caste system. Still caste is major issue in many parts of India and progressive states too have not been able to give up this social evil till date. The people belonging to imaginary lower caste had to suffer for thousands of years . They remained deprived of education , social status and dignity of life.
