In recent interview , leading lyricist javed akhtar had made a important and wonderful point about thinking pattern of fanatics all cross the globe. He cited example about tulsi das and another muslim scholar. Tulsi das who wrote Ramacharitamanas which is said to be avadhi version of Ramayana. It is not exactly the “Awadhi version”, but the original one of its kind.

Now tulisdas had to face outrage of many scholars of that time who considered awadhi version as disgrace since sanskrit is known to be language of devas.

Similarly a muslim scholar translated quran from arabic to urdu. He too had to face outrage from other scholars for de grading quran to such a language at that time.

Religious fanatcis all across the globe and all across history have had similar thinking patterns.

Some of their characteristics are as under :

1) They are passionate about their faith (nothing wrong in that , many are) but they are passionate in imposing their faiths in others.

2) They have strong belief that their way in only way but they are passionate in wanting others to completely agree with it.

3) They adhere to word by word of scriptures but quiet often misinterpretate those words

4) Smallest deviation from ther understanding , smallest critisim of their faith or smallest genuine questioning can make them come on streets , destroy public properties

5) They belief  they are licensed agent to protect their faith without understanding that religion and faiths are big enough to require protection

6) In their over zeal of having their way the only way they can kill fellow human being , inspite of agreeing that god whom they believed created them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7) They belief that the day their faith would become faith of every human being ,world would become peaceful without understanding the human nature.

They belief that world is after them to destroy their religion and faith.

9) Many of them suffer from messiah syndrome

10) The god whom they claim to be fighting for needs them to make sure that his will prevails!!!!!!!!!!
