Proud To Be An Indian : It is people who matter

I remember when ahmedabad was hit by major earthquake and my building had got demolished by brutal force of nature.  All people living in my building were humbled by nature. Lives were lost , property was demolished. Help started pouring in from all quarters. People helped with time , even with money. Rich , poor , hindu , sikhs , muslims ,christians , jains , all contributed . Not just for us but for all effected in ahmedabad and in kutch. Another example of people’s generosity and humanity is example of gayatri devi. A freedom fighter fighting for her rights. Mayawati Ki Maya : No Money For Victims , Lot Of Money For Park

What can be said for a government which has money and lots of them to spend on some public park but same government doesnot have money for poor people who became victims of stampede?. Mayawati who did spend 2000 crore Rs for a park has appealed to center to be little generous in giving relief to victims of stampede in Pratapgarh.
