Fatwa & Women Empowerment
Woman cannot work where they have to mingle with man without veil . Woman cannot mingle with her male colleagues. This are views of largest muslim seminary in India , Darul Uloom of Deoband who has issued fatwa against muslim women and asked them to veil themselves and not mix with male colleagues. Maulana Abul Irfan Firangimahli , a sunni cleric has backed the fatwa stating that career oriented women might get good life here but they are answerable to god (allah) after death. Few months back a influential muslim had slammed working women citing that their chief role is nurturing kids . This he had said during woman reservation bill debate. Rs 30 lakh on snacks
Image via Wikipedia Few days ago a report was published in leading indian news website which stated that every 1 in four Indians are hungry. That report brought images of starving people in orissa few years ago. Ironically during same time rotten wheats where thrown in sea. Wheat which was kept in government godowns from years !!!!!!! India is indeed pathetic is some areas and distribution system is one such area. CNN-IBN ran a report of wheats,rice being wasted in godowns while many starve in India. Now another report has come in cnn-ibn. Great Indian Committee called common wealth games committee had snacks worth of Rs 30 lakhs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
