JDU is one of key ally of BJP and part of National Democratic Alliance (NDA).Janta Dal United (JDU) categorically said that they would oppose narendra modi’s bid of becoming prime minister of INDIA, if BJP comes up with his name as candidate in 2014 elections. Insult To Islam? – Modi Not Wearing Skull Cap Is Insult or Wearing It Just For Sake Of It Would Have Been Insult?
Narendra Modi is on 72 hours fast for what he calls as sadbhavna mission. His sadbhavana mission saw people from all communities coming to the venue. It included hindu sants , jain sants as well as clerics of muslims communities.One of them was Sayed Imam Shahi Saiyed , a muslim cleric who wanted Narendra Modi to wear skull cap. Narendra Modi refused to wear the cap and requested Sayed Imam Shahi Saiyed to give him shawl itself , which Imam shaab did. First was supreme court’s verdict which asked trial court to continue with the proceedings and decided that it wont monitor the case , any more.
