Ishrat Jahan Shamim Raza : Was She Lashkar Operative or Victim of Police?
Image via Wikipedia Ishrat Jahan Shamim Raza’s name is back in news. The 19 year old teen who was killed by gujarat police on 15 June 2004 created huge controversy. Gujarat police claimed that Ishrat jahan shamin raza was Lashkar-e-Toiba operative who had entered in gujarat along with three of her fellow operatives to kill Narendra Modi. According to gujarat police , they chased down blue Indica car which had these four operatives and killed them in encounter while judicial probe found that all four killed (Including ishrat) were murdered cold blooded in police custody. Report also said that Ishrat and other three were kidnapped from mumbai brought to ahmedabad and killed by police. RIL RNRL Verdict
Finally verdict is out. Supereme court reached judgement and Mukesh Ambani Has Won the case over Anil Ambani, rather RIL has won againt RNRL. The supreme court in his judgement ruled that the government has the last word on pricing and utilisation of national asset. “RIL does not have absolute right over gas and price is subject to government approval… since MoU (of the Ambani family) has not been made public, it does not fall in the corporate domain… Under the Production Sharing Contract, it is for the government to evaluate the price of fuel,” Justice P Sathasivam said, reading out the verdict. Helpless Family + Outraged People + Media = Justice
Freedom has no meaning if ordinary citizen donot get faith on law. That feel that if something goes wrong with me , I would be given justice is important to feel pride , ownership in any system , state and nation. Ruchika molestation case is perfect example about how a family can be left helpless and even ruined by powerful people. A girl molested and then harassed for 3 long years forcing her to die. A father forced to sell his house and left roof less. A brother who is framed in number of charges and his life spoiled.
