Does Religion Needs Protection?
As I was on my way back to home from office , I saw a car which had sticker that read ‘xyz religion is in danger, awaken to protect it’ . This led me think that does religion needs protection?. Be it be any religion , most believe in source called god. Source which created entire universe and all species. Source which itself came as avtaar (in hindusim) or sent a prophet (as in Islam) or himself came as jesus (as in christianity) . God established a system called religion which had moral , social norms and rules. How to pray , rituals , social systems , sin ,duties and many such things. Religious forums are generally last place to visit because many times two people who have faith in respective religions try to ridicule each other and put each other’s faith down. Yesterday while browsing a networking site I came across a religious forum and my curoisity took over and I decided to read some of posts of that forum. It was argument going on between two groups belong to two different faiths. Communal Riots Is For Non Believers!!!!!!!
Another riots occurred in Hyderabad , India. This makes second incident of communal riots this year. Earlier bareilly saw communal riots where two main communities of India were involved. Communal riots are not new in India and first recorded incident of such riots dates back to late 1700s . India has seen many such riots which occur all in name of god. Now those who get involved in communal riots claim to be protecting their religion. They dont like something which they consider is attack to their religion and since being highly religious people they try to defend their religion!!!!!!! Turning God Into Entity Which Hates!!!!!!
1) Thank God For Dead Soldiers 2) Thank God For Swine Flu 3) Thank God For 9/11 No , this are not my statement , but from website belonging to particular group who believes that usa is moving towards destruction. Titled as god’s wrath against america , the group believes that since usa is not living as per god’s law and have divorce , abortion , gay marriage and many such things which are/might become reality , usa would get destroyed. Thinking Pattern Of Fanatics
In recent interview , leading lyricist javed akhtar had made a important and wonderful point about thinking pattern of fanatics all cross the globe. He cited example about tulsi das and another muslim scholar. Tulsi das who wrote Ramacharitamanas which is said to be avadhi version of Ramayana. It is not exactly the “Awadhi version”, but the original one of its kind. Now tulisdas had to face outrage of many scholars of that time who considered awadhi version as disgrace since sanskrit is known to be language of devas. Similarly a muslim scholar translated quran from arabic to urdu. He too had to face outrage from other scholars for de grading quran to such a language at that time.
