Yes Parliament Is Supreme But We Want Results too
Parliament is busy debating on issue of lok pal bill and anna hazare fast. It is good that parliamentarians are behaving in manner they are supposed to behave. It is good to see debate going on about strong anti corruption bill. It is great to see people in parliament debating rather than screaming and not letting parliament function. It is great to see parliament reasoning out rather than trying to create lot of noise. Anna Hazare movement while have acted as catalyst to make nation discuss,debate and also manifest their outrage on streets about corruption , there is different debate too which has got ignited on television studios and also inside parliament. Shibu Soren : Sorry State Of Indian Politics
Congress won the cut motion brought by BJP and opposition parties. While lalu , sp and BJD slammed upa for prise rise , BJD remained absent citing the reason of not being interested in bringing down government , lalu and sp cited reason of not siding communal BJP!!!!!!!!!!! Sibu soren voted against cut motion . Now it is not that sibu believed in democracy and decided to have its own say during cut motion. Sibu is believed to have bargained some deal with congress , who is expert in making deals since times of moraji desai. BJP took sibu’s vote thing personally and decided to take back support. Can Pakistan Re Invent Itself?
Home Minister Of India today asked Pakistan to reinvent itself and become true democracy with power in hands of elected member. Now his words would surely fell in dead years . Not because what he says is incorrect but because of major trust deficit among India and Pakistan. Also would the problem which Pakistan is facing right now and problem which India faces due to Pakistan , get solved by mere democratic set up. Pakistan has reinvented itself twice since independence. First time it reinvented soon after death of jinnah and second time during rule or misrule of General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. Issuing Whip In Largest Democracy!!!!!!!!!!
Women Reservation Bill is most important political news since a week. It saw 14 years of sheer opposition before getting finally passed by Rajya Sabha. Though it needed suspension of 7 members , adjournment of rajya sabha 9 times in two days and rare unity of left,right and congress for bill to get passed. Loksabha too seems to see more fireworks and this bill won’t be tabled before union budget , railway budget’s debate and passage.
