Shocking News , No More Shocks Us

As soon as I entered India news website a shocking news starred in front of my eyes. The news was shameful , the news was disgusting , the news was on breach of trust in one of strongest relationship which humans have , the news was on arrest of a husband who forced his wife to group sex with his own family members and his partner.

Now this man is not illiterate , he is educated man who has business of exports and he met his wife in london. Both got married and hell broke loose for the wife and her humiliation , her nightmare continued for four long years.

If wife had shocking experience with her husband in above news , another news shocked the nation. A 15 year old girl gave birth to a child in tiolet of school toilet. What is surprising is neither school nor her parents knew that the girl was pregnant and what is shocking is that she delivered child in toilet and abandoned the child . She didnt even inform any one.

In another series of shocking news , a tripura woman was striped and paraded without clothes by kangaroo court of village. Government has ordered cid probe in the case.

Few days ago brutal honor killing which involved beating , multi wounds and electrocution made headlines. The father/uncle of girl , murdered the girl and her lover brutally . While both have been arrested , uncle on camera said that he didnt regret what he did. Murdering own kin in name of so called honor is seeing upward trend but the way this couple were murdered was horrifying.

Now the grand daddy of all shocking news was bhopal gas tragedy. It involved entire system and still we are silent. Anderson came , was arrested , was freed , was sent of government plane to delhi , in delhi he is said to have met home minister as well as president of India before going out of the country.

A man whose firm is responsible for killing of 20,000 citizens of India goes scot free and using tax payer’s money funded plane to do that.

But we have seen so many deaths through national calamities or terror attacks , we have seen so many corrupted entities , we have read /heard about so many negatives around us that none of shocking news remains shocking for us anymore.

Our reactions most of time is , ya it happens that way . Duniya hai chalta hai types and we tend to move on unless we ourselves are effected by it. May be we have resigned , may be we have raised our bar to endure , may be we are no more shocked by anything.

Shocking new , no more shocks us.
