What Is State Wise Indian Population (Statistics of Population)

India is second most populous country in the world. By 2040 India is expected to surpass china and become most populous country in the world.  In a decade annual exponential growth of population has been 1.64%.

With population is 1,210,193,000 and growing , the rising population would come up with plenty of challenges as well as opportunities. Challenges like providing resources to every Indian , energy consumption, health ,education,Demand for jobs , graceful retirement .

Let us view state wise statistics on population. It includes average marriage age of female as well as use of contraceptive.

 Uttar pradesh with population of 19 crores ,95 lakhs as per 2011 census. up is not only most populous state but had it been a country it would have been fifth most populous country with china , India , usa , Indonesia being top four. Its population is more than even Pakistan . Total fertility rate of uttar pradesh is 3.7 and median age of marriage among females is 20.2 while 26.7 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Maharashtra with population of 11 crores , 12 lakhs,37 thousand as per 2011 census, comes second in the list of most populous state in India. Total fertility rate is 1.9 and median age of marriage among females is 20.5 while 62.6 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Bihar has population of 10 crores,3 lakh and 8 thousand as per 2011 census. It is third most populated state in the country.Total fertility rate is 3.9 and median age of marriage among females is 20.5 while 28.4 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

West Bengal has population of 9 crores,34 lakh and 8 thousand as per 2011 census. It is fourth most populated state in the country.Total fertility rate is 1.9 and median age of marriage among females is 19.9 while 53.3 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Madhya Pradesh comes fifth in the list of most populated state in the country. It has population of seven crores,25 lakhs ,98 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 3.3 and median age of marriage among females is 21 while 53.1 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Tamil Nadu comes sixth in the list of most populated state in the country.It has population of seven crores,21 lakhs ,39 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 1.7 and median age of marriage among females is 22.4 while 57.8 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Rajasthan comes seventh in the list of most populated state in the country.It has population of six crores,86 lakhs ,21 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 3.3 and median age of marriage among females is 19.8 while 54 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

 Karnataka comes eighth in the list of most populated state in the country.It has population of six crores,11 lakhs ,31 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 2 and median age of marriage among females is 20.6 while 60.8 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Gujarat comes ninth in the list of most populated state in the country.It has population of six crores,3 lakhs ,84 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 2.5 and median age of marriage among females is 20.9 while 54.3 percentage use contraceptive to control population.

Orissa comes tenth in the list of most populated state in the country.It has population of Four crores,3 lakhs ,84 thousand as per 2011 census.Total fertility rate is 2.5 and median age of marriage among females is 20.9 while 54.3 percentage use contraceptive to control population.
