Getting Pregnant At Age Of 15 Is Not Modernism

Yesterday i went for morning walk. Since month i was trying to wake up early and go for walk.Yesterday i managed too!!!!..Bad habits are hard to die…I went to nearby park where a group of old people were sitting and talking .

Retired people who deserve all the time in the world.They worked hard for their entire life , for their families , now they can relax.. I walked two round and then decided to sit in the bench near this group..

They were discussing the present young generation and how the influence of western culture is effecting them…They were very much critical about the western culture. One of them said in taunting voice -’vahan to 15 saal ki ladki maa ban jaati hai aur woh bhi 13 saal ke ladke se’..Second one said -’aare dusere do ladko ne bhi apna dava pesh kiya tha , ke woh us bache ke baap hain’..The group burst in laugther..Then finally one of them announce verdict -’15 saal mein ma bana modern nahi hua’..

I could not agree more with him. He was right. Getting pregnant at age of 15 is not modernism. It is definately not. Becoming parents is most important and responsible job in the world. A new human being is brought in the world .

At same time my mind recollected reported about state of children in India. Majority of children are malnutrished and we have highest number of malnutrished children in the world. Half of Indian women get married before 18!!!..Legally its crime to get girl married before 18…A whooing number of women have child in their first year of marriage and half of children are unplanned!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which indirectly means getting pregnant at age of 17-20 . Only difference between the case which that group mentioned and our factual state is marriage!!!!

Balika badhu is not just a popular serial but also factual reality of many girls in India. India has come a long way since independence but we have still long way to go…
