Fooling In Name Of Religion

Babas (god-man) are in news these days in India. While one baba(god-man) from Delhi was caught for alleged prostitution racket , another god-man from karnataka was seen in a video footage with two Tamil heroines in compromising position.

Godman from Delhi is said to be security guard in five star hotel before being arrested for running prostitution racket. He changed his outlook after going out from jail and became god man!!!!!!!. He didn’t live his previous business and in name of baba flourished . He is said to be billionaire by means of prostitution , suspected gambling abroad and fooling people in name of religion.

Karnataka’s baba is said to have 2 million followers world wide. He is said to have branches in 33 countries where he taught people how to become enlighten by means of meditation and this enlightened baba is alleged to be found in bed with Tamil actresses.

Asaram Bapu is accused to have grabbed government land and police in conducting inquiry for murder of two children in his ashram.

Last year another so called god man , jadeja was arrested by police. This god-man was one step ahead of above three. He claims himself to be incarnation of goddess!!!!!!!!!!

India is one of oldest civilizations in the world where we have tradition of gurus (teachers is spirituality and other forms ) and disciple.  Taking advantage of this tradition and ignorance of people at large there are so many so called god mans who claim to ease life issues of their followers, protect them , guide them and realize them their true self.

People in greed , fear , curiosity turn to these godman. Some are genuinely curios , some want solution to their problem , some want short cuts , some want favoritism. What ever one wants , god man promises to give them. As if god man are licensed agent of god with power to alter god’s master plan and god are binded to do as these godman say!!!!!!!!!

Those who are atheist or skeptic might consider those who go to these godmans as fools but for people who go there , they have faith and at times blind faith.

Fooling in name of religion is not new phenomena. It has been there since civilizations came into existence. Faith is something which need not be logical . Faith is something which need not be tangible and binded by science and some people in name of religion fool people to live comfortable lives at cost of follower’s faith.

All in name of god because god is business for some people.

Although I would’ve preferred if you went into a little bit more detail, I still got the gist of what you meant. I agree with it. It might not be a popular idea, but it makes sense. Will definitely come back for more of this. Great work
