Communal Congress
Do you think Congress is the most communal party? Asked by: Rohit
Under the garb of secularism, they are actually perpetuating communalism. A person who openly declares that he is working on a religious agenda is less dangerous than another person who claims to be working on secular principles but infact perpetuates communalism – HS Phoolka
The above question was asked by ibnlive reader to HS PHOOLKA on sajjan kumar’s acquittal.
Anti Sikh Riots were worst riots in independent India. It was worst riot since 1946 direct action day . It was riot where 3000 sikhs were slaughtered in broad day light by congress goons . This is official figure by government.
Unlike gujarat riots which is equally worst but most condemned , Army was request much latter . In case of gujarat riots , army was deployed on border due to tension between India and Pakistan as aftermath of parliament attack while in case of anti sikh riots , we had not such issue still army was called much later.
From 2003-2013 India has witnessed worst riots in places which are governed by congress . Assam riots being the worst among various riots including those which happened in up under current sp rule.
Sangh Parivaar is often alleged to be communal by parties who claim themselves to be secular. Bharatiya Janta party’s most successful movement till date has been RAM MANDIR movement which brought party to power . “RAM MANDIR” movement did polarize the country but at same time who fastened the movement?. Late Rajiv Gandhi’s muslim wooing act of injustice towards shahbano made congress worry for hindu votes . This worry led to Rajiv Gandhi opening the gates of RAM MANDIR which in turn fasten the RAM MANDIR movement which BJP wanted to encash before RAJIV GANDHI takes the credit.
It was P V Narshima Rao who allowed babri mashjid to be demolished. He was considered chanakya of Indian politics and it is foolish to think that he went by assurance of BJP CM of up. He was too smarter politician for that. Demolition of babri worked for congress in long term . It made minorities especially muslim rally around corrupted congress than what they say as communal bjp.
When mahatma gandhi had come back to INDIA from southafrica one of the leaders who have come to receive him was mohammad ali jinnah . Mahatma at that time had remarked that it is great that a muslim leader has come to receive him. Mahatma knowingly or unknowingly was conscious about religious identity of jinnah who at that time was one of most secular leaders of subcontinent and who later on graduated to be communal leader ,dividing subcontinent into two .
Responsibility of partition is often put on jinnah but we often forget role of congress , brits in it. It take enough maturity and honesty to point fingers to self than others and congress was equally responsible for partition and death of 1 million people in the process.
It is always good as government to take care of every individual living in the country. The data needed for the same should be there and government must work to make sure that all are included in the growth. India is highly diverse nation. It is extremely important to make sure that dalits , muslims , ne,south, north, west all grow. Nothing wrong in it.
But using same data to make people conscious about their religious or caste or ethnic identity and reinforcing that is communal not secular. Threatening minorities by right wingers in their speeches is communal not secular. Wooing one religious community is communal not secular.
In anti sikh riots Indian national congress has protected its own leaders ,neglecting minority which they claim to be champion of. Why?. Just because sikhs dont amount to volume which matter much to congress?.
Had it be anti muslim riots instead of anti sikh riots and had it been same tytler, sajjan kumar , h k l bhagat , reaction of congress would have been much different. Why?. Not because congress loves muslims. But because muslim’s numbers matter .
In name of secularism congress has practiced covet communalism and caste politics. In name of secularism congress has divided the nation more than jinnah or other communal force . Practicing opportunism congress has worked out successful plan to remain in power but in coming 100-200 years that plan would turn out to be destructive for the nation.
Same is for poor who have been wooed in name of MNREGRA or loan waiver but the situation of poor have not changed.
We as nation have to stop dividing this nation on grounds of religion , caste , creed and gender. Growth of all , appeasement of none should be our mantra.
1984 Anti Sikh Riots is unfortunate reminder of true face of congress where blood of humans matter little unless it counts for votes.
