Barack Obama Is Not Indian Prime minister
Barack Obama. I remember when I first heard this name. It was before name of candidate was finalized by democrats. Here in India most held opinion that hillary clinton would be sure shot candidate for democrats. But barack obama wave took over soon.
As USA elections were held and results were announced ,it soon looked like Indian elections in India. The media coverage it got was unprecedented. Almost all news channels had their reporters flying to usa to cover the event. Obama’s first speech as president was telecast and ‘change is here’ line made headlines.
As barack obama reached to the post of most powerful man of the world , even most Indians were happy. It is story which is truly inspirational, it is victory of king’s dream and after bush era , global recession , entire world including India had its eye on who seats on the hot seat.
Obama soon formed an new economic plan and he made it clear that he wants american students to be competitive with china and India. He soon made it clear that he wont like jobs being outsourced to India or china.
Yesterday as obama reiterated his stand , media in India made it headlines which read “US jobs will not go to India, China: Obama”. Now what is wrong in that stand. What stand is obama supposed to take as USA president?. Is he suppose to say the more and more jobs would go to India and that is what he expects for corporate america?. Barack obama is not Indian prime minister. He is USA president. His job is to take care of his country , save guard its interest and not interest of another country.
Do we expects dr manmohan singh to safe guard Indian jobs or promote outsourcing them to Nepal , Bangladesh , Pakistan or china?. Yes such news would not be encouraging for our companies and work force but barack obama is not Indian prime minister and nor does he has duty to please or encourage us. Isn’t it?

The Palestinians are crazy even to consider talking to Israel when it continues to build on Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
